Joint Development Agreement (JDA) between AkzoNobel and KLAREN.
Akzo Nobel Industrial Chemicals B.V. and Klaren B.V. signed in 2010 a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) for investigations and development of a new industrial technology concept involving the use of Klaren’s self-cleaning fluidised bed heat exchange technology.
For this purpose KLAREN designed, engineered, constructed and recently commissioned a representative pilot plant, based at AkzoNobel research, in order to test the application and ability for scaling-up to commercial scale operations.
